I've always wondered what the people on this board described as "console experience"? If it's graphics, those certainly aren't console level.

Nice graphics
Full voiced dialogue
Large expansive map
Many Npc's on the screen at once
Many if not most features on the console version are present on the hamdheld.

This game is the real deal.

Does the game have forced touch controls? I read that in IGN review they had open letter by sweeping front- and rear touch screens same time. This is pretty much only thing keeping me from buying it just yet.

It's a great game marred by some technical quirks. It's a must play for fans of the series or fans of the genre.

Thats fair. But i think that even newcomers to the series would appreciate and enjoy this game!

This is my first AC game and it has sold me on the series. I will pick up AC3 & AC2 at somepoint now

Nice graphics

Not something the Vita provides or, indeed, this game

Full voiced dialogue

Something done numerous times by handheld games

Large expansive map

Something done numerous times by handheld games

Many Npc's on the screen at once

Something done by numerous times by handheld games and which AC3L stumbles over, if reviews are to be trusted

Many if not most features on the console version are present on the handheld.

Like what? And why is that a good thing? Almost every handheld entry into console series in recent memory have had the same features as their console entries. COD, NFS, GTA. Name em.

Unlike what? And why are these all the hallmarks of a "console experience" but not just a good game? And why do you consider "console" level to be a golden standard? Console games come with terrible graphics, no or terrible voice acting, small maps and low NPC counts. Why is everyone in this topic so desperate to hail this system as "almost console" rather than attempting to distinguish itself from that or go above and beyond?

I wouldn't say it's as good as the console games, especially AC3. It's decent though, and a solid 7.5/10. It loses a few points for the sound quality and persona system.

Its the real deal in that its the only handheld ac worthy of the name.

Despite what reviews may have said or what the videos may show you, the game has nice graphics!

Being able to have a huge map with every building you see accessible is amazing.

The npcs actually do they talk to eachother ,run from u, pet animals, and the slaves do work. You can blend in with the slaves!

It does have a few touch screen annouances. Opening letters with rear touch and front touch. And a hard tilt mini game.

Yhe persona system is cool once you are allowed to go about missions in any persona you want.

This game is really impressive. It feels like cheating when I play this game on the go.
