Retailers drasticaly slashing prices of the Vita to clear space for other things = no longer a flop? This isn't even a Sony sanctioned price cut.

When the dreamcast dropped to $50 was that because it was no longer going to flop as well?

The Canadian launch of the Assassin's Creed bundle was also $199 for the first week or so. While it did help move the bundles, they weren't exactly flying off the shelves then either.

Hopefully the black friday rush helps and sets the stage for some word of mouth heading into the Christmas season.
