The Vita + AC3 Liberation bundle for 199 is might tempting!

Especially since I am already a PS+ member with my PS3, I would be able to get the instant game collection. If I come across one this weekend I might have to pick it up.

Only thing I'm not too thrilled about is the lack of memory and the proprietary Sony memory sticks. 80 bucks to upgrade to 32gb which will be necessary since the 4gb stick it comes with won't even hold what I would have available via PS+.

Amazon has it all weekend plus a rumored bonus. No tax (for most states) is a plus too.

IMO the 32gb is worth it if you have lots of music because lots of games support custom soundtracks. You probably have lots of PS1 games from PS+ so that might make it worth it for you too.

If you have ps+ the Vita comes almost free with all the those games, I can tell it's really well worth it, and when you're done with all those plus AC3L probably Killzone, Sly, Tearaway, Soul sacrifice etc should be around, plus whatever new free PS+ games are announced.

I appreciate the encouragement. I will say one thing thats been in the back of my mind telling me it's a bad purchase is when I look at the "Upcoming PlayStation Vita Game Releases" on the Vita mainpage here on gameFAQs. Pretty slim pickings coming up...

Seriously, we live in a great time for gaming. That is a great deal.

Thats your problem. GAMEFAQS only posts games with a "known" date. IE look at this:

http://www.ign.com/games/upcoming/vita?sortBy=popularity&sortOrder=desc

Now not entirely accurate, I am sure, but the first 50 Vita games have a TBA 2012 date.

Yea that is why I specified my source. It was a little hard to believe that those would be the only games coming out for Vita.
