You'd be a FOOL not to subscribe to Playstation Plus...now.

question:
if i sign up for PS+ on the Vita, along with all of the obvious Vita perks/"free" content, do i also have access to all of the PS3 PS+ "free" content/discounts??

or would i have to buy an additional/separate subscription of PS+ in order to access all of the PS3 content/discounts?

You are subscribed to both automatically.

I stopped my subscription for my PS3 recently because it's in another state for awhile. The Vita PS+ games I already own except 1, so not worth it for me at the moment.

My country's PS+ offerings are utter garbage.

Free Vita games : Uncharted and Unit 13. Only.
Free PS1 games : Crap no one gives a damn about because we're no longer in the PS1 era.

That's a very shallow, thing to say.

Okay, maybe not 'no one'. But I truly do not care about them. And by 'them', I mean PS1 games that people do not care about, like fighting games which have already been improved upon in their own respective sequels.

More than xbox gives you for renting Live.

True.. but I personally dislike both Sony's & Microsoft's 'premium' services for my own reasons.

Meh, I've had ps+ for a year now and the positives far outweigh the negatives. For 20 bucks every 3 months I usually get about $60 in savings. I get to redownload ANY game they have offered in the past atany point and every month they give even more games. I really don't see the drawnback since I never keep games anyway so if Sony's servers suddenly died I'd still be satisfied with what I got to play.

Sexay response.

I save more than double what I spend to subscribe to Playstation Plus, per year. More than double. And I don't even bother with the free games. I'm talking about all of the insane discounts.

By the way, if you buy a game that's discounted through Playstation Plus, you get to KEEP THAT GAME FOREVER. Even when you stop subscribing to Plus.

Guys, it's $50 a year rental service for BOTH PS3 and Vita, plus a virtual 25~50% discount card for select games and DLCs.

I got back my $50 within 3 months of subscription, so YES I do consider additional titles that gets added to Instant Game Collection as FREE.

sure if you use the discounts to buy games you otherwise would have not bought you're out even more money

at the end of the year theyve sold you maybe $200 worth of crap you wouldnt buy, and its all free!!!!!

and the games you get to play you dont get to keep but thats ok cause its all free!!!

I'd much rather wait till the games are cheap enough to buy outright. Then I can play them without subscribing to anything.
