Vita if you want a home console go with the Ps3 or even the 360

right now, the Vita, what would you expect on a Vita board lol.

Wii U right is having growing pains, lack of great exclusives, and besides I would wait until next E3 to see what Sony/MS next gen platforms will offer and decide then, I really can't find a single good reason to get a Wii U right now, sure good Ninty games will come, but as of today, Nintendo Land and Super Mario U are not reason enough to fork $400, and the rest of the games are mostly lazy ports that add nothing that you couldn't play in PS3/360 at half the price.

VIta right now has great Black Friday bundles, about 50 games for all tastes and some of them really good, and with PS+ you can have lots of free content at an incredible price.

Even more, for the price of the Wii U + a game, you could get a VIta bundle, a PS3 and the PS+ subscription to play a bucketload of games for free in both consoles.

wii u doesn't have any real compelling exclusives yet. I'd get a vita, as the black friday sale will make it 200 for a bundle, and they will be much easier to find.

wii u is having a crapload of issues right now. not trolling. ask their board. not wortth 400 bucks. also as said most wiiu games are on ps3/xbox

vita is slowly getting games and equal closely, in graphics. if youre that guy who cares. its a handheld. not, i repeat. NOT a CONSOLE.

plus you dont have to be within 20ft of the consle to play (its a joke ninty fans, lighten up XD)

up to you its your cash

Objectively, the wiiu has a more promising lineup of games, a company that actually gives a damn about it's success, and real backwards compatibility with it's predecessor.

Vita has none of these.

Subjectively I regret buying my Vita and would gladly undo that purchase and put the money towards buying a WiiU.

How many times have you made that abundantly clear...most level minded people would have sold their console by now and moved on to greener pastures...you
Seem content in your state of discontent...

You are an incredibly lucky person if you can spend $400 in a console just for the promise of games coming in a few months but not much more to play right now. Even so, right now I can only see Pikmin coming in short term, and yet again if you can spend $400 to play Pikmin, wow you really have a lot of money.
