"Free games on PS+ aren't free."

PS+ costs 50 dollars. I want Uncharted: Golden Abyss and Gravity Rush, I would buy them legitimately. Both games combined cost more than 50 dollars. I got them for free on PS+. Look at that, I just covered the $50 cost I paid for the yearly subscription because I would've spent that money on those two games, so I just got my money back. And now everything else for the entire year comes at no cost.

PS+ = greatest service in gaming history.

You have a fair point. Now you just have to keep paying $50 for the rest of your life in order to keep those games. Good job! :)

The subscription model is hard for some people to wrap their mind around.

Interestingly enough, video game companies used to be able to make money without selling out like cheap prostitutes.-KaiserWarrior

Actually, the situation I described has happened like 20 times this year so far, so really i've covered my subscription costs for the next 20 years and i'm only 7 months into this year's subscription.

That's great. Doesn't change that they aren't free.

If i've made the money I spent back already, i'm not spending any money on the entire service for the entire year. How is that not free again?

you're pretty much renting them for a long period of time.

I'm "renting" them forever at no cost, as long as they offer at least $50 dollars worth of games i'd buy anyway for free ever year. Which as i've said, they've done plenty of times in this 7 months already.

Let people have the "But it's NOT TECHNICALLY FREE!" argument. It's literally all they have against plus.

By the time your year is up you would have probably beat the game already so it's good.
