People have far overpaid more for even less than what you get for a memory card, but when the only people who know the Vita exists laugh/facepalm at every piss poor advertising decision you make(and this is both fans and trolls alike hating them too), you know you have a dire problem.

Marketing in various ways, not just exposure.
Making first party games using other companies.
Not enough "console-like" experiences like they're advertising. EVERYONE expected CoD to be the same CoD on consoles on-the-go. "We're also proud to announce that Call of Duty will be coming to the Vita next year". That's borderline false advertising or just plain stupidity.

They did it as a way to combat piracy but it's not fool proof. If anything it's a lack of marketing and a lack of "must have" games. It needs to sell handhelds so that it can convince the publishers to create "must have" games for the platform. --- PSN: tack129 |
