No, you're ignoring the fact that the $199 bundle was widely available, it was $110 off list price (list for the Vita is $250, AC Liberation is $40, and a 4gb card is $20)--that's more than a third off!--yet the Vita still only managed to sell 160k.
So first Sony bundles the Vita with a brand new high-profile release and a 4gb memory card for free (a $60 savings), then it slashes the price of the bundle down $199 (another $50 savings). And that was just the normal Black Friday deal, not the fire sale Amazon bundle. Yet only 160k in sales? Dire.
