The new Vita bundle is retailing for $299.99, it comes with:
3G/Wifi Vita (MSRP 299.99)
4GB memory card (MSRP 19.99)
Unit 13 voucher (26.99 on the PS store)
PS+ 1 year voucher (50.00 MSRP)
-----------------------------------
Total MSRP: $396.97

So that's a "savings" of $96.98, and yet Sony somehow feels that it's OK to advertise it as over $99 in savings.

I would guess that they are valuing Unit 13 at it's retail physical game price.

Either this, or we now know where mathemagics comes from.

I think that's what it is, but they're not giving people a physical copy of the game, which holds some value if you're only getting a 4gb card.

Actually Unit 13 had a price drop to $20 I thought.
Also, they could be including the online pass

Thought the music industry made mathemagics with the 1 billion dollar mp3 player.
Interestingly enough, video game companies used to be able to make money without selling out like cheap prostitutes.-KaiserWarrior

Unit 13 was $35.99 until 2 days ago but that still wouldn't have made it $99 in total savings but more.

Nope, it's 29.99 for a physical copy, 26.99 for digital. The online pass is included with both.
