So, I've been debating whether to get a 16 or a 32gb card for my new vita and I'd noticed that amazon had the best prices. $47 for a 16, and $87 for a 32, which I thought were there normal prices.

Guess I was wrong....32 now $91, 16 now $59....ouch.

On a positive note, I did find a used p4 copy at gamestop for $30....silver lining on the day.

Awww... Why did you bought P4G used??

Atlus deserves every single penny for bringing one of the best JRPGs to the Vita.

I am so jealous! I missed the 32gb sale.

Enjoy your vita!

If it makes you feel any better, I did buy the ps2 copy new years ago, and most of the other persona games at one time or another.

In theory, I agree with taking the high road in regards to used video games, however, when there sitting there right beside each other exactly the same..... I broke down.

The MSRP never changed; Amazon fiddles with prices all the time and is probably just optimistic that the people who bought the gold box deal are going to realize their systems are crippled without another massive cash outlay.

$100 memory cards: quite possibly the industry's biggest mistake ever.

I love that Sony pushes data storage media, with all it's various memcards, memory stick, minidisc, it's role in the Blu-Ray consortium,
But trying to turn them into proprietary devices has really hurt them.

TigerDirect had it on sale for $77 and Bestbuy price matched it for me, paid a total of $83.xx if you can find that price and work it up a little bit, maybe you can get the same price? :X

Buying Persona 4 The Golden used this early is a transgression against Atlus. You should feel bad

And so is NOT buying it at all

The prices haven't "officially" dropped IIRC since I paid $100 for the 32GB at system launch which is still the standard MSRP, you actually bought it at a cheaper price but Amazon likes to push the up & down button for their items so it looked like you got it at a higher price.

Maybe people would have more money to buy Vita games new if the proprietary memory cards weren't so obnoxiously overpriced.
