The vita sold well recently during Black Friday and I can't find a single thread title mentioning sales and vita doom since the figures were released?
The Vita sold well? Last i checked, it's still being left in the dust even by last gen systems such as the Wii and DS.
let them have their fantasy, while the Vita is still barely relevant... This is a testament to how poorly the Vita has done that people are actually considering those good sales. Sure its behind everyone else but for the Vita thats okay. |

This system is not dead like some people thought it would be by now. I agree that the Black Friday sales were nothing to celebrate about but c'mon, at least it shows that there is a sign of life left in the system.
To the TC and everyone else that is concerned with the doom and gloom/sales threads, just ignore them as best you can and just enjoy your system. The sales/flop trolls will never go away because Sony's handhelds systems will always be behind Nintendo's in sales, so there is no sense in stressing over something that you cant control and that will never change.
Let them talk about sales figures and continue to incite people with their subliminal trolling and snide remarks. They're the type of people that like to create chaos and controversy on a message board to make them feel in control of something in their life. Posting something negative and then seeing the ensuing backlash is a turn-on for them.
You wanna know something thats even more sad than how the Vita is selling worldwide? The fact that most of the trolls that frequent this board are not even kids, but adults and some of them probably pushing or well over 40. I remember when I thought trolling was fun too....yeah...when I was like 13 years old.

This. Its like celebrating vita sold more than 10k in japan due to a new hardware color a couple of weeks ago. SMH ITs crazy to think it would have been dead by now. Any consumer electronic product will benefit from a holiday boost. The issue at hand is if It will sell enough this season to sustain it long enough to last another? Selling under 100k a month during the year means sustainability issues in the long run. Is there anything we can personally do about it? Of course. We can control our own investment into the ecosystem. --- If I support the game company, then I won't be supporting the blank DVD business. |

Care to link me to a post of anyone actually celebrating the slight growth when they released new colors? Or is this just another baseless post from you? I didnt say anyone celebrated that. I am saying how a slight sales boost from new hardware bundle/temporary price cut/special event isnt a big reason to call for celebration just like the recent new hardware color recently in japan (moreso when it is still falling behind the rest of the consoles, outgoing and incoming gen by a significant amount).
