They are working on a new one for Vita due "early 2013".

Maybe never because it allowed exploits on the vita's psp emulator. Phantasy Star Online 2 is coming though. Which will be free to play.

Yeah I know about the new one but no one is sure it'll release in NA. Played the PC version of of PSO2 though on PC...If you import the game some how for Vita you are in for a treat.

The PC version is confirmed for North America early next year but no word for Vita yet

I keep hammering Sega's inbox and customer service about it every few weeks, just to make sure they know I'm watching them. I also send them this image

I've gotten a number of canned responses, I had a response from a Nico B who claimed it hasn't been ported to Vita yet, to which I pointed out that it's not even available for PSP anymore. I also asked him if he wanted to go bowling.

If we just keep on them HOPEFULLY they'll get the idea.

I do wish more game devs would release patches for their games to plug the exploits so that Sony doesn't have to remove these games altogether from the PS Store because of the exploits.
