So : unbalances whether you've played golden abyss or not, day one DLCs (yes, plural), interface issues like selecting your cards or simply seeing what's on the table ... meh.

Have you noticed that all the day one DLCs amount to more than the price of the game ?

Not really a card game fan, but I'll keep playing Golden Abyss regardless.

It's a fun game for five bucks. And it has asynchronous multiplayer so I'm sure ill dive into that when I'm done with the campaign. It's worth the money if you have golden abyss. Heads up though: prepare to be outclassed if you don't have many golden abyss treasures. Second computer beat me so I'm off to earn treasures.

Played the first couple of levels, was fun enough. Online wasn't working last night though.

Are the dlcs just card packs or whatever that you can get through other means or actual content? I also expected the unbalance if you haven't played abyss atleast in the start.

It definitely feels like a companion game to Golden Abyss, as it's something that actually makes me want to seek out the treasures/trophies in order to upgrade my cards, whereas previously I didn't really have any motivation to do so.

For $5 it's actually a pretty fun game for anyone that enjoys card games (I haven't bought either of the expansion packs, so I can't comment on those). I haven't really had any problems seeing the table or selecting my cards, although GA owners definitely do have an advantage, so to be honest I wouldn't really recommend it as a standalone purchase if you don't have GA.
