Wait, is there no way to ONLY delete the application? I HAVE to lose my save?

Well this sucks. >.<

Well, using the content manager I've found a way to back up GR to my PS3. Hopefully that stores the save as well.

Darn Sony, did they seriously not think this through? Or was it all part of the plan to get people to buy PSN+? >.>

It does store your save and I think it has more to do with discouraging constant re-downloading of games and encourage backing them up if it isn't just a plain oversight. I mean everyone constantly re-downloading their games and ignoring back up features would put a strain of their servers.

Personally it doesn't effect me since anything I bought I'd want to have my own back up anyways and anything I got free with psn+ is fine on the cloud since access to one means access to the other.

Or, you know, have an old PS3 that doesn't have much space left because of mandatory installation of certain games.
Or a computer with not a lot of room, and so forth.

I'll have to test using Ragnarok Odyssey, as I have both digital and physical copies of it once my brother is finished with the physical copy.
I bought it, he liked it, so I bought it again so that we could play together. Had I been smart, since we share a PSN, I'd've purchased it digitally in the first place.

I've got the physical copy of Uncharted and downloaded the free version off psn and when it installs it just overwrites the bubble for the physical version, save data works perfectly still.
