Wait, is there no way to ONLY delete the application? I HAVE to lose my save?

Or, you know, have an old PS3 that doesn't have much space left because of mandatory installation of certain games.
Or a computer with not a lot of room, and so forth.

Those 100kb are really gonna hurt.

Backing up your Vita data onto the PC via Content Manager requires you to back up EVERYTHING. Not just your save data.

While I agree it does suck, the lack of separated save files are probably to prevent save edits and not about money.

Content Manager needs an update to allow to back up apps/games individually at the very least.

Lets be honest, almost everything Sony does hardware wise almost never makes sense and usually makes the consumers jump through hoops to do basic things.

That people defend this flaw is beyond me.

ITT: I dont know about Content Manager or Cloud

ITT: Sailor Goon shows his ignorance by not knowing people may want to switch to a physical copy.

is there a way to switch the save from DD to physical copy? I'm being serious, not trolling...

@Shadowfxd2
You should just be able to copy it to cloud or pc, insert card for install and copy the save back.

... I just see it as people accepting it for what it is rather than complaining or tired of complaining. I doubt they think its a good method.

I wouldn't even care if it didn't take almost an hour to back up my 8 gig stick onto my ps3.

that's because Sony cheaped out and sold us the slowest memory cards for a beyond premium price. When I can get a Sandisk 32 GB SD Card Ultra II or Extreme for about $30...

@Shadowfxd2
No, it's more because of the security check Sony implemented on the Content Manager. It runs a check on every file. 100 small files that add up to 8 gigs will transfer a lot slower than 10 files that add up to 8 gigs.

Their security is what slows the transfers down the most, not the card.

I see no one defending it. I see a bunch of people offering solutions or not caring though. I see you making an argument out of nothing as usual. Another typical day on the Vita board.

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

How does Sony profit that?

"Want to back up your save without the hassle of using up several gigs of PC space? Pay up for PS+."

I don't see why anybody wouldn't since you're getting "free" games with the service
