How would you clean dried cheeto powder from a Vita Screen?

I was playing my vita while eating puffy cheetos like I did for PSP, DS, GBA, GB,etc.

So everything was fine (I just wipe the powder off the console parts I touch with a wet paper towel when it is off.

But this time after licking the powder off my finger I swiped (because it prompted me to in Uncharted).


I just need advice on what I should do. Is OLED sensitive to water if the system is off? I am pretty upset at myself for not thinking but any suggestions on cleaning the screen would help.

I usually use a microfiber cloth and glasses cleaning fluid. Screen should be fine with it. You might want to consider investing in a screen protector.

microfiber cloth and ethanol takes most stuff right off

Anything with a screen I use a protector on these days. But the Vita isn't weak enough to be damaged by cleaners, but the material you use to wipe the cleaner off with matters. I normally use windex and my tablet cleaning cloth I got with my ASUS Transformer. You normally get one of the screen cleaning cloths with screen protectors too.

This topic is full of win lol. One tip for you tho is eat before you play or eat thing that wont leave stuff on your consoles and as always soap and water before touching anything will work for you
