Left side is the 3DS, released in February 2011. 42 games in 22 months for an average of nearly half a game per month since release.
On the right side is the Vita, released in December 2011. 35 games in 12 month, for an average of almost three games per month since release.
The 3DS may have sold more units by virtue of lower price and longer exposure, but the Vita is where the quality's at. All it needs now is a lower price and, most importantly, time to flourish. The 3DS by contrast looks like it's going to be in a similar position to the Wii - a haven for cheaply-developed gimmicky shovelware running on outdated tech. --- PSN/GT/Steam: Ravendust Reviews are a metric of quality. Wiiplayer111Posted 12/30/2012 6:11:00 AM (edited) | I'll defend 3DS because you are clearly for Vita.
Vita has a lot of ports.
And even if you count those games it still can be considered a flop when its selling 5k and its only competition is selling 90k a week.
But I guess no games is subjective.. Wii U launched with 30 games, one of the largest if not the largest ever, and people complained about no games. --- Look a you.... sticking to the plan. didyouknowgaming.com |

Its fact... Vita has games. The hell it has to do with my post? And the games are all inferior to their PS3 version. 3DS has its exclusives. --- Proud member of Team Galactic ~The True G~ |

Now ennoy ghe pointless war you started No, you're intentionally misinterpreting my post to further your point.. I'm not saying ALL 3DS games are shovelware, in the same way that ALL Wii games aren't shovelware. However, it being older tech makes it inexpensive to develop for which means it will get a dirge of low-quality titles throughout its lifespan. Look how many waggle-based gimmicky minigame compilations the Wii got. --- PSN/GT/Steam: RavendustReviews are a metric of quality. Sales are a metric of popularity. |

Look how many waggle-based gimmicky minigame compilations the Wii got. Wii is not a portable. Wii's ”shovelware“ games could be big sellers on a handheld. DS was also inferior to PSP, right? How did that went out. Now go start wars somewhere else. --- Proud member of Team Galactic ~The True G~ |
