In the view of a few people of this board, that article says that Vita is doing fine.

"Company chief executive Kaz Hirai conceded that the handheld console's sales figures are "on the low end of what we expected" but remains optimistic that it can recover."

Yeah, that sounds great to me too...

Hey man, i agree it you 100%.
Admitting the problem is the first step to fixing it.
But there is a few select individuals *coughLumecough* who don't thinks there is a problem at all.

The Vita is really losing all those opportunities with the Sony top brass refusing to take a (substansial) loss in hardware sales.

The Vita is really losing all those opportunities with the Sony top brass refusing to take a (substansial) loss in hardware sales.

the question is how much of a loss do they want to take, they're already selling at a loss and has a plan to recover in 3 years, anything more at they might not even profit in 5-6 years. it's not like they can reduce the price and then recover a few months later like the 3ds did.

Vita Success strategy

- Drop Vita to 179
- Drop Memory to Free Market rates
- Push PS PLUS
- Push Digital Sales and shoot for Low Cost HIGH Volume (Steam Strategy)

- Remove Firmware redundancies and make playing online with others easier.

- Localize Japanese content!

- Big Market push for the big 2013 titles (PSO2, Dragon's Crown, Soul Sacrifice, Kilzone: Mercenary)
