I mean, of course tomb raider started off as a Sony exclusive but what better way, to return to sony

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tomb_Raider_(1996_video_game)

"Tomb Raider is an action-adventure video game developed by Core Design and published by Eidos Interactive. It was originally released in 1996 for the Sega Saturn, with MS-DOS and PlayStation versions following shortly thereafter."

Wii U isn't really doing that bad worldwide, though. I think it'll all be ofrgiven in Japan once MH3U and DQ drop in Japan.

MH has never done anything for consoles, especially a Monster Hunter which has already been released 3 times now.

A fully numbered DQ will be huge though.

I don't think Xbox720 or PS4 are gonna fair much better than the Wii-U. I think people are getting tired of getting burned for being an early adopter. Why bother buying a first release console when a slim version will come out in a year or two with better hardware, a cheaper price, and a decent library built up?

That and between the PS2 first gens DRE, and the 360 first gen RROD, and the PS3 first gen YLOD. I think the industry may be creating some trust issues there too.

This plus people are realizing that the price of systems tends to drop around the time games start really coming out. And sony fanboys will try to attribute this to the 3DS but really the biggest price drop burn was the PS3; it was obviously more expensive than most people were going to pay and it came out with very little in the way of games to convince people to buy it. A price drop (or 2 or 3) later and it finally became a successful system, at least as far as games go. But everyone is going to remember that it didn't have much at launch and that early adopters got really burned.

I am not an early adopter. If your system is as awesome as you say it is, it will still be in stores when the games I want are out.

1st gen PS3s, had more features, though.

Not exactly burned, and I own a slim version.

Damn Wii-u is doing this bad with no competition, imagine if the ps4 was out as well....(because let's be honest xbox 720 no matter how superior to the wii u it may be...it's not going to sell)

So the Wii-U has become the home console version of the vita?

Let's also be honest: Sony will find a way to screw it up.

That was classic.

rofl that was amusing

and for people who's saying the WiiU is selling bad, look back and see if the PS3 or 360 sold this amount on the release. The answer is:

Not even the half.

And assuming that the WiiU still doesn't have a solid library, it's selling very well. About the same sales of PS3 on its prime age is good, specially when it costs $350.
