Can I ask...why did you buy a failing system that won't last half a year anyways?

look likes there a new troll in town.

I am not a troll. Everything I say is 100% factual.

And the N-gage and Dreamcast didn't last long in the market(not even a year for the N-gage) so the Vita won't last long.

you diden't answer my question about the crystal ball...

Because they didn't future proof it.

The vita is future proof as it is right now. Digital downloads and updated game cartridges along with ps+ compatibility and OLED screen with a fast OS that can run multiple programs. Even far advanced than PS3 OS right now.

You don't know everything. You only know what you know.

I have about 10-12 ps1 games, will the following work with vita?

MGS1
RE 1,2 and 3
Threads of fate
Parasite eve
Crash bandicoot 2
Medieval
Dino crisis

Hi, just picked one up myself yesterday.

Sign into the PSN with the Vita. At the Games Marketplace scroll down, listing 4 "PSP Games (PS Vita / PSP). Listing 5 PS one Classics Vita.

I can tell you RE (1,2,3), Parasite Eve (1,2) and Dino Crises work.

Sadly no MGS 1.

Considering the touch screen I'm really surprised no Angry Birds.

MGS1 works with Vita, you just have to transfer it from a PS3.

Yep, just found out (you tube) it can only be transferred in bubble form, not after it's been installed on PS3.

Originally I was trying to download it via Vita PSN ------> Download List, where I was able to dl other games.
But MGS was one of the games it said, "cannot download via Vita". I thought it meant non compatible.

So now I have to re-download to PS 3, then transfer over to Vita.
Leave it to Sony to not make things complicated.

The old way was much better, Triangle ------> Copy-------->Done.

Not future proof as it is RIGHT NOW. You forgot the most important thing: more and better games.

Hardware's negligible as it will be outpaced next year by phablets.. and it doesn't have any VITA specific IPs that are as big and well received by the public as Nintendo's.

Better hope Destination Playstation is big and so is E3 for the VITA..

Where's your crystal ball, that tells you vita will be supported long term?
