Sorry, those games don't exist.

Kingdoms of Amalur was good and bankrupted the company and FFXIII sucks and sold alot, cooking mama also sucks and sold alot, Demon Souls was great and sold less then cooking mama (though was a financial success due to good management).

Buy and play it... duh. Sales have nothing to do with quality. Look at 3DS sold a ton and it's a horrible system with next to no features no real account system, 3D that does nothing but give you a headack and less good games then vita in over twice the time on the market and it sold alot, why? Advertisement and massive desperate price drop 6 months after it came out roughly 6 months before vita came out.

Sales=Quality.

Soul Sacrifice will be a bad game because of it's poor sales, just like the Playstation Vita.

Face the facts. Sales=quality.

Hasn't this argument been destroyed time and time again?

Not that anyone with half a brain wouldn't know that this is false.

if sales =/= quality, then I guess those game.com games were excellent? It had Resident Evil 2, Duke Nukem, Sonic the hedgehog and Mortal Kombat. It was also the first touch screen handheld, first handheld to go online, had 2 cart slots, and didn't sell much. So, if Vita is a success, then so it the game.com?

Sales don't indicate quality, they just indicate how many people can be suckered into playing a bad game thanks solely to brand name.

Case in point: Final Fantasy XIII.

Actually they do equal quality. Take a good look at the best selling games: They're all good quality.

I only buy games and systems that sell 5 million + units and the only way I can get a low selling game is from a gift.

So you basically buy every Call of Duty ever? Because they all handily break that limit, and yet they're kinda infamous for being the same warmed up soup every time.

Meanwhile Borderlands, which is superior in every way, gets no love just because its name isn't Call of Duty.

Hell, look at the best selling title on Vita. CALL OF DUTY. And please do note BOD got panned by both fans and critics for being a mess... it still sold a crapton more than any other Vita title. Why? BRAND NAME, not quality.

So... yeah. I rest my case.

Stupidest reasoning I've heard in a while. So you only purchase things that sell well? You pretty much only buy what's "in"? That sounds very sheepish.

Talk about someone with no personality...

So, you've played Mario, Zelda, every single Pokemon game ever then?

Fact is, most people buy games due to BRAND loyalty because they had a good experience with the brand once and even if the others in the series are exactly the same or have very little changes, the fact is, it's the brand, not the gaming quality, that draws people in.

One of the better action platformers I ever played was Kya: Dark Lineage and Samurai Legend Musashi, both on the PS2. They didn't sell very many units (certainly not 5 million), but they were both REALLY well done games and I enjoyed every moment of them.

Sales only equals one thing, sales. Nothing more, nothing less.

Quality, on the other hand, is pretty rare.

Even though you know he's talking out of his ass, you'll agree just to crap on the Vita?

Man, I never thought trolls would reach this low.

This.
Also angry birds. Even if you do like them (I honestly find both mediocre) you do have to admit they're not the best games of all times, despite selling a ton. Hell Wii fit sold more than most games. It's all about marketing and brand name. It's very rare for a game to sell off word of mouth alone, Minecraft and Arma 2 are the only examples I can think of.

I actually own a Game.com and a Vita... both are not that great, with game.com being the worst!
