I've actually sold one Vita. Bought a white one and then sold my old black one that I had since launch. Sony owes me some dollars.

Nobody I have that much influence over would ever buy a Vita or 3DS. They have their home consoles and that's enough for them.

I'm not sure how this work. Does the person have to buy the Vita from specific retailers? Or do they make you put in the referral code when you register your new system or something? I don't have a Vita yet but I was thinking of getting one very soon. I might as well get it using one of my friend's referral code. That is if they don't force you to shop at specific store.

I'm rather lazy to check the full link out because I'm on my phone, but what type of proof of purchase is this requiring? Is it just the serial or receipt too?

I wonder if this can be "abused" to take advantage of previously bought Vitas somehow. I know about 5 people with one, and I doubt I can ever get anyone else to buy this. Everyone comes to me to find out the best phone to get, not the best handheld.
