A game I can see selling Vitas in Japan

#1Neonwarrior1243Posted 1/26/2013 10:34:25 PM
Is One Piece Pirate Warriors 2, the first one sold 800k on PS3 and Japan likes handhelds more then consoles so the people that bought it on PS3 before will most likely buy a Vita and the game. Especially if it has cross play and has one version being sold with PS3 game and Vita game like DoA 5.

For North America and Europe I'm not sure what will sell it since myself and everyone I know don't have time to play games when they're out of the house and my guess is most people are like that unless you ride the subway or something else like that to work or school.

One Piece isn't a big seller. It's probably comparable to the Megami Tensei franchise

Realistically speaking and while this topic is aimed to create a heated discussion, PSO2 will hands down sell systems, you can't beat that free to play tag price, and the game is stupidly solid, never thought MMOs could be made to be that "playable" on a portable system.

Yeah I guess PSO2 pretty cool being an MMO that's portable is it doing good on PC? Also I'm not trying to get people mad it's just most people say only Monster hunter will sell it and it's going to die and stuff like that. Monster hunter might help it sell here in the west though since I played that a lot on my PSP and I'm sure a lot of others did too.

Also I was just saying that in the west usually people are driving around to places and work while in Japan it's mostly by foot and train, so the usually do good in portable device sales because of that.

There is no single player offline but, yes, you can play it on the train if you have a 3G Vita.

Wonder how fast you hit your data cap with this for the VITA (if it's the full online game connectivity we are talking about not ala online 3G vita games usually being asynchronous)
