Sony should drop the prices of memory cards when they drop the Vita's price.

How long are you waiting on? The most I predict for a 32 gb is probably 60 and that a lot of wishful thinking. 80 is what will most likely happen if there ever is a permanent price drop. During the holidays I was lucky and was able to price match the sony sale of $60 at a Best Buy.

As long as Sony is the only provider for the memory cards, prices will go down very slowly. There needs to be 3rd party providers or an adapter in order for prices to decrease significantly, but that's not happening anytime soon. Yeah Sony is pretty ****ed up. The two major things that the 3DS has over the Vita is that you can regular SD cards and it's fully backwards compatible with the previous handheld (DS).

The Memory Card for the Vita is proof Sony has no respect for us.

Vita Memory Card is the SAME EXACT SIZE as the PSP Go Memory Card.
The only difference is the edges which act like a key.

But they had to make something totally new and exclusive so they could charge above value.
