High res graphics are better than 3D. Truth is they would have to rework every model and texture before putting it on vita. Low res 3DS graphics look awful on a high res vita screen.

Vita is low res itself. My phone has 720p and my Tablet. The Vita would look awful on the tablet and maybe ok on the phone. Anyways downing another machine is fun, right?

would have been better at low res since a lot of vita games don't run native anyway LOL

who need 3D , its just a fad

This is the lamest excuse I have ever heard. 3D is NOT required for any game, and most 3DS owners play games with it shut off, so saying this, I call BS.

Technically, I wouldn't really want a poor 3DS port, but just say that the Vita isn't selling well and we don't really see any value in doing it currently. Don't give me this crap about angles, and being optimized for the 3DS.

At least they're not obviously flat out lying like Capcom. I like the honesty from that.

Plus, they did say that if they made a Vita Castlevania, they would want to work with the Vita's strengths, rather than do a straight port.

And the real reason:

Vita is tanking so hard, even a half-assed port wouldn't make us money.

this.

Oh goodie. A Castlevania game with gyro controls, AR mini-games, rear touch support, touch screen functionality, dual-analog, and camera use.

Or maybe they just mean it would have shiny graphics.

I'd be a lot more into Mirror of Fate if it wasn't a Castlevania: God of Persia-reboot game. I just want another Metroidvania... where's Igarashi when we need him?

I'm just pointing out how much he lashes out about 3DS, when it's outselling it by a lot and has much better selling games and isn't filled with ports. I don't understand why the Vita fans need to try to down the successful handheld, while their bells and whistles console has failed so bad?

What? You mean they would have to spend more time and money trying to develop it on the Vita, and with how poorly the Vita is selling, it wouldn't be worth all that time and effort? How dare they!

And yet, developers aren't porting games to Nintendo's console, the Wii U, since they don't want to hire a team to add tablet function to their games.

It works both ways.
