I have a PSP with a hard copy of a few multiplayer games (in this case, Dissidia), but I'm also thinking of buying a digital copy for my Vita.

Can I play ad hoc between the two systems on one PSN account?

Thanks in advance.

I don't know exactly what you're talking about but i know it's one vita per PSN acc. and two ps3s per PSN acc.(used to be 5 but too many people were gamesharing) Your vitas PSN acc is tied to your memory cards. It cannot play the UMD discs, instead it plays like mini cards. If you have digital PSP games they will work on the vita. I tried a few myself and they run flawlessly.

If you can wait a day or two for me to get out of the hospital I can test it out for you

I know you can't play ad hoc between two Vitas on one account. That's why I ask if I could play ad hoc with a PSP and a Vita on one account.

You can. Adhoc doesn't use PSN accounts, all you need is the game.

I was going to say this, but you beat me to it.

It's 2 of any combination of PSP's or Vita's.
