ORANGE666 posted...Everytime Xseed announces a new localization, I die a little inside. All of these crappy games are taking time away from the localization of the next LOH game.
Much as I love LoH, it's not really their fault. The games didn't perform as expected, Trails games have unholy amounts of text and seeing as they are a small company, if they pick up a title like Trails it means they can't work in other titles at the same time. Thus, something like Trails would have to sell REALLY well to compensate their reduced output of games for the rest of the year.
Still, Ys isn't crappy at all, haha. I was actually looking forward to Celceta, maybe more than SC. But I've been an Ys fan for all my life, basically, whereas Kiseki is a recent thing for me. But yeah, it's hard to expect the rest of the Trails series to hit the west given the length of the games and how many of them are out already. It'd take a company much bigger than XSEED to accomplish that, and the sales would need to be much, much higher. I mean, easy comparison is that Square themselves don't feel comfortable enough localizing a lot of their OWN JRPGs nowadays, and not a lot of them has more text than Kiseki. If a company of that size doesn't feel safe to take a bet with JRPGs, especially well established series like FF (Type-0), imagine XSEED...
