Lord_KagatoPosted 1/31/2013 9:12:27 PM | ...I don't see what's wrong with it. Plays great. Looks great. Honestly feels like a portable PS3.
Yeah, as an nest multi-plat gamer, don't let the trolls get anyone down. It's a solid handheld. I feel it just needs 3 things:
1) TV Output support or some sort of cross-play with the PS3 (but playing Vita games still requires a Vita as maybe a controller or something)
2) A price drop. I got mine at just $170 used on amazon, but I know the retail price is still a bit high.
3) More AAA Vita-exclusive games. No shovelware or spinoffs.
Other than that, I'm happy to have one. This as well as my brand new WiiU from late December has made me a happy gamer. Haters just gon' hate. --- Watch my LPs and UMvC3's Courtroom Drama! - http://tinyurl.com/bo7nxnx Current LPs: Majora's Mask, Fatal Frame 2, Persona 3 FES |

2) That's happening at some point, which is good.
3) So much yes.
Thank you for being a cool person. --- Playing - Too much. But mostly Vita, PS3, and PC games. PSN: zandm7 |
Spiffy247Posted 1/31/2013 9:21:14 PM | Got any games? --- I'm clever, vaguely feminine, a vampire, and I wield Dice. PH33R. The 3DS and PSVita are both outstanding systems. Wally the Equality Weasel says so. |
crumbtinyPosted 1/31/2013 9:33:24 PM | I just picked one up at Target last week. They had the Lego Batman bundle for $225 and I love the Vita so far.
I picked up Persona 4 and got a few months of PS. So getting Gravity Rush and Uncharted is pretty awesome.
The screen looks great, I spent a few hours just finding nice looking wallpapers for it and there's still a huge backlog of PS and PSP games to check out. Seems like a solid system; hopefully Sony will crank out some more great games and do a great job of supporting it. Fingers crossed as the platform has a ton of potential. |
