Eh.... I still say it's a little too early to be announcing a new console (despite it being strongly hinted). I think they should use this event to focus on the Vita and then announce the PS4 around May so they can build the hype train for it though E3 with all sorts of announcements and festivities. But who knows, guess we'll find out come February 20th

They can't let Microsoft beat them at announcing the next console. They have to announce it soon.

I thought they said they wanted Microsoft to announce there new console first? Then agian it's Sony were talking about here, they sometimes have a tendency to stretch the truth.

I just said that logically speaking. Like they'd want to get it out (announced) asap to start building hype before Microsoft gets a chance, but if they've said otherwise then, idk.

that system is literally sony's last chance
they can't handle another ps3 or Vita.

Sock. U are just spewing stupid out your mouth... the ps3 did great better than the Xbox 360 in lifetime sales at this point..... sonys downfall financially had nothing to do with gaming until the vita...

lol the ps3 was a major loss for them
it only recently started making a profit for them.
then the vita destroyed that profit.
sony can't take another massive loss

Except for making bank off their U.S HQ. I think Sony is under massive reconstruction right now in almost every way and I think the Feb. 20th event is part of that.

ps3 has been profitable for almost 3 years now.
