Is Soul Sacrifice going to be closer to Darksiders or Bayonetta?

Can't tell based on the trailer.

So if Nintendo changed the name of the Wii - U, would they be pulling a U-Wii?

Erm...neither? It's like Phantasy Star Online + Gods Eater Burst with a meaningful "Are you evil or good" system that affects whether you fall to darkness or are a warrior of light.

It looks nothing like either of those from what I've seen. More of a PSO/MH kinda game.

Gods Eater meets a magic-only build in D. Souls. Kind of. Definitely nothing like either Bayonetta or Darksiders though.

It's another Monster Hunter ripoff like God Eater.

In terms of originality, I think that's an inescapable conclusion.

The concept is the same, but even MH and God Eater gameplay are pretty different. MH is much more 'realistic' whereas God Eater (and this, from what I've seen) drop that off a bit for more flashy/fast-paced combat. I prefer the latter to MH.

On the other hand, I kinda wish they'd actually take a tip from MH where exploring the map and actually LOOKING for the monster you need to hunt is more entertaining, lol.

Actually. its far superior to Monster Hunter. Monster Hunter is slow-paced and very shallow.

I think that's why it doesn't look very appealing to me. It looks like they just drop you in a closed off room with some monsters and you kill them. No exploration or adventure type aspect at all.
