Why doesn't my Vita notify me of Friend Requests or Messages?

I literally find out about a lot of stuff a week later when I log on to my PS3.

It does, it just takes a long time for it to refresh messages on its own. If you're expecting a message, just click the refresh button on the top right corner of the screen

Check your settings too

Specifically, you can make it play a sound or flash the home button when you have notifications and how often it refreshes

it clearly doesn't like you demon. ps vita are gentle creatures, they prefer to be treated nicely. so be nice and it might notify you for messages and etc.

Open the app(like messages) and go to settings. Then change the reset interval to 15 minutes(or that's what I have at least.)

Pretty sure this is the default setting, because I was also wondering why I rarely get notifications only to see that it was set to off.
