As a Vita fan, I'm disappointed. Someone (knowledgable) please tell me I'm wrong

Hey guys, it's nice to hear that backing up the games will copy the save data as well. I just want to ask-- have you guys done this yourselves? Because if I format my memory stick and lose my save data, those dozens of hours of JRPG grinding, I'm going to be a mighty sad boy.

Anyone who owns a Vita and/or PS3 and doesn't subscribe to PS+ is not the sharpest knife in the drawer.

Okay, thanks guys. Peace of mind... anyone who has played a Disgaea game knows of the countless hours fans sink into the series. I'm hoping to format my stick for Sly Cooper's release. I'm going to buy it for PS3 for that cross-buy service, looking forward to it...

Wait-- another question-- If I back up my games/data on the PC, and continue playing the games on my Vita, then the save data of my PC games will quickly expire, as I'll be continually grinding. Do I just delete the games off of my PC and then back them up again?

Just back them up again. It will automatically replace it for you. Just make sure you don't accidentally have it on PC>Vita instead, because then it will overwrite what's on your Vita with what's on the PC.

There will never be two copies of the same game/save data, as far as I know. It just always overwrites.

Thanks-- but if I format my memory stick, will that also erase the Blue-Tooth connection I've made between my PC and Vita? Like, if I've backed up data onto my PC, will it not recognize a formatted Vita? As in it would assume it was someone else's Vita?

I thought being a Plus subscriber is a no-brainer at this point?

Apart from being able to back up your save data with ease, you get tons of discounts on the PSN store, you get selected games for BOTH PS3 and Vita for free every week as long as you maintain your subscription.

The moment you subscribe, you already have access to Gravity Rush, Uncharted, Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus, and many more in the coming weeks. And that's without counting the PS3 weekly offerings.

For only $50 a year, what's not to love about Plus? You even get additional 3 months if you subscribe to Plus for a year right now.

Damn, do you work for Sony? Because that was a pretty good pitch, almost seemed copy/pasted.

Anyway, it's tied to your account as far as I know. Not sure why you're formatting your memory card, but if it's to switch accounts, then your saves probably won't work until you reformat it back to the original account.
