Ah, thank you for the clarification. :-)

The Kat DLC was going to make me try the game again. I'm curious, did they mention if it will be free or paid?

I could actually see myself buying DLC for this game if it was the right characters so that would be a shame.

From the sound of both sides they simply reached the end of their contract, didn't extend it, and now SSM is picking up any future development on it.

Don't you think it make more sense to have the contract drafted in a way where it end only after they have released the last planned dlc?

Not necessarily, it could've been drafted for the dev cycle with some time allotted for post release bug testing. They're really haven't been many patches other than tweaking ap gain and move cost, so for all we know the dlc we're getting from them was a happy unexpected extra.

Just saying, from the sound of all the comments from both sides the contract simply ended and they parted ways with no known qualms.

I read on IGN that all DLC for PASBR for both the PS3 and the Vita will be handled by Santa Monica due to Sony cutting ties with Superbot.

i actually feel SSM could do this game more justice than superbot in regards to the roster

Do you mean in terms of how they play or simply who is included? The latter is both a cost and agreement issue with other publishers and their demands.

both, the cast is largely decided by superbot i believe. they were the ones who requested the characters and asked sony if they could do something about it.

It's never been said by anyone that they are canceling doing dlc. They just aren't doing Abe.
