Media Create. Everything that has transpired has done so according to my design.

Exceeded 50,000 sales (includes both physical & digital)

So did Demon Gaze. Seems like just looking at software sales on media create isn't enough to know how much a game has sold since a large portion of people buy digitally.

Even so, media create is the most solid info we can get on a weekly basis short of the devs or Sony releasing the numbers of digital sales.
As for the last part, we don't know that people are buying a large portion of games digitally, that's a guess at best. Can't look at 50k physical sales on any game and automatically assume most sales were digital so obviously the game must have sold 100k+, right? The consumer has to work with the information available to the public, whether sales were good or bad.

Not large enough apperantly for Sony to ever bother posting digital sales.

When information on digital sales is released, it's usually about 5-10% digital.

sony never releases digital sales, good or not.

Digital sales are pretty neglible though, the only time they really matter is when the game is digital only.

That is usually true, however there are a few exceptions on occasion. I recall someone here posting an article about Persona 4 Golden. Apparently the digital copy sold more than the physical. Perhaps it was due to the save corruption glitch?

As it pertains to Animal Crossing: New Leaf, digital sales of that are between 700k-800k. I think the DQVII digital sales might be similar.

In North America I'm sure digital versions of Fire Emblem: Awakening sold drastically more than physical, due to the shortage.

Apparently not negligible since it accounts for 30% of Demon Gaze sales. I just posted the facts for you and you're still make a post like that?

I diden't see your post.

I'm not going to read every post in this thread.

and anyway usually digital sales are quite neglible but as Vishana said there are probably exceptions to the rule and I shoulden't have made such a broad statement.

Tut tut. You are wrong, but I found that I was as well.

Sony, as a whole lost 456.7b
Their Mobile devision lost 24.6b compared to last year's 15.5b
This is where I was inaccurate
Their gaming division lost 3.5b

This was Q1 of last year.

During Q3 ending Dec31 Sony Lost 46.4b
The gaming division only profited 4.6b

Again. It's not doing as bad as the Vita.
