Also, How's DQ7? I've never played the game before because turn based systems have trouble keeping my attention, but if it's going to dethrone AC, then it has to be pretty amazing. Being amazing or not, the series is even more popular than Final Fantasy in Japan, so the expectations are pretty high. True, mainline Dragon Quest games sell like 3-4 million copies in Japan. Maybe the fact that this is a remake will put somewhat of a damper on sales, but it's still a Dragon Quest game coming out for the dominant system in Japan, so the numbers should still be impressive. |

In Japan, Animal Crossing: New Leaf has sold 2.4 million physical copies and between 700-800k digital copies. Which brings sales to approximately 3.2 million as well.
I find it kinda interesting how a single game that has only been released in Japan, potentially outsold(or had nearly identicalsales) a handheld system that has been on the market for over a year(in Japan).
I sincerely hope things improve for the Vita, I want it to be a huge success. Only time will tell.
