At the current trends, the 3DS YTD will surpass the Vita LTD sometime in the 2nd half of the year.

Interesting thing I noticed. It is currently estimated worldwide Vita sales are at approximately 3.2 million.

In Japan, Animal Crossing: New Leaf has sold 2.4 million physical copies and between 700-800k digital copies. Which brings sales to approximately 3.2 million as well.

I find it kinda interesting how a single game that has only been released in Japan, potentially outsold(or had nearly identicalsales) a handheld system that has been on the market for over a year(in Japan).

That's pretty incredible, especially considering that Animal Crossing has only been out for 3 months.

For every time a troll comes in here to make fun of the Vita, Playstation owners, or people who own a Vita, a kitten dies.

You guys want that?

Some sacrifices must be made.

Also, a Vita game on the charts for 2 weeks. Don't remember the last time that happened

2nd best selling system at 18k again. Ouch.
Vita under 10k again. Ouch.
Wii-U on it's way to sub-10k sales. Ouch.

Never change Japan.

Vita is still feeling the effects of the Summer Olympics.

The 3DS is doing great as usual. I would like to know the sales in North America considering most of my 3DS friends are playing Fire Emblem. That was a HUGE release here. Too bad about the delivery snafu on it.

The Vita is doing OK IMO. There has been only two major releases for it this year so far (Sly Cooper and Sonic All-Stars).

The Wii U is just plain sucking! I will see by the end of the year if it picks up. If not, I'm going to just stick with my good old 3DS.

That's completely ass-backwards justifying the Vita with that argument and then blatantly stating that the Wii U is "sucking" regardless of it's substantial performance.
