Don't try it, it's just stealing your information.

When you actually input your personal information and then go to the serial number part, it says "invalid serial" no matter what you put in.

I just got off the Playstation support phone and they confirmed this with me.

I'm gonna post this on the Playstation Forums as well.

Yeah...I usually don't apply for things on sites I've never heard of.

Thanks for the heads up though.

You need to place a 0 in front of your serial, it's stupid it don't tell you but yeah... a zero needs to be in front.

Yes so very stupid, as well as the Sony representative!

The deal DOES work when you put a 0 before the serial number.

I'm going to have a good time rating her on the survey I am receiving...

Another thing I called about it before today, the guy told me to email sony playstation support. Thing is, there is no email to send anything to, it's just got the phone number and link to the forums on the support center.

Good job on hiring these people Sony...

And good job to me for listening to them... *thumps self on head*

Hah! Don't be to hard on yourself, the rep helping you was most definitely trying to talk about something she didn't know herself. They only really have a guidebook of most commonly asked questions...

It's why you get the whole "oh sorry, talk to this department" run-around.
