...But it's on PS3. Kinda defeats the purpose. It's an awesome game, but I'll wait for an exclusive must have platformer adventure, like Tearaway.

really? that game looks horrible.

Nope, the only must have Vita games are Uncharted Golden Abyss and Persona 4 Golden (kinda funny they both have the word "golden" in the titles...lol).

I never use my 360, and the Vita version has more features. That's like saying it's a better deal to get P4 on ps2 than P4G.

I seldom delete my games. What if I want to play them later? I don't want to wait 1 1/2 hours just so I can get a quick fix of a random game. Besides, I don't have PS+, so no cloud saving for me.

DD games available as a cart as well might be convenient for some people, but not for me. Even if I get the PS3 version, I'll never download the DD version out of pure convenience. So, Vita cart version for me.

Anyways, this is a pointless argument. I'm off to sleep.

Just want to point out that no it's not like saying P4 on ps2 is a better deal then P4G because P4 is still $30 while EDF on 360 is $15 so you save $25 dollars as opposed to just $10. Have a good sleep. Even if your logic is flawed.

He was comparing them because they're both updated ports with additional content (including online play as a new feature for EDF), price wasn't the main focal point.

I get that but I'm talking about how much that additional content would cost you. It's more worth while to spend the extra $10 to get P4G for the additional content which makes buying it a no question but to some people it might be more worth while to spend $15 for EDF on 360 instead of nearly 3 times that amount($40) for the extra content you get on Vita.

A better example perhaps would be between getting P3P or P3:FES since while P3P adds a whole new character (FeMC) you lose The Answer storyline thats in P3:FES. So perhaps it's better to spend the $20 on P3P while some would be ok just spending $10 on P3:FES. Still not the best example I know but whatever.

Online play is a pretty big factor, as is the Pale Wing character for more dedicated fans. Obviously for them, and in the context of the analogy they set up, cost wasn't the reason to prefer the Vita version. You're free to point out the separate argument regarding cost, but it didn't make their logic flawed since they weren't trying to refute that point in the first place...

Oddly enough that wasnt the logic i was calling flawed. the logic i was calling flawed was that he would rather spend $30 to buy the cart version of Sly then delete some stuff on his memory card (IF he needed to make room) and download the Free DD version of the game (which he can delete at anytime after he is done with the game using cross saves when he has to leave his PS3 to go somewhere and still have access to finish sly on the go)

It's not like Sly is some big in-depth game like Persona 4 or Disgaea that you can spend hundreds of hours playing. I am actually disappointed that i got the cart version of both disgaea and persona for that reason. Because i never see myself selling them and it's a pain in the ass to switch carts when i want to play them.

Recap: flawed logic = spending $30+ for cart when you have access to free DD version

If this is the first must have Vita game, then the Vita is in bigger trouble than we thought.

especially since it's a PS3 game... where you get the Vita version free...

I love the Sly Cooper games but I don't think any of them are "must have". The PS3 version of this one is arguably better too even if I prefer playing on my Vita. Nice game though and a solid addition to the Vita library.

Oddly enough

I concur, that is an odd retcon.

After playing the demo I decided not to buy the full version, so based on the demo I would disagree.

It may be one of those games that are best bought a few weeks or months after release, once they've been patched enough.
