Those games were okay. Not as bad as the reviews made them looked. On vita it is a completely different thing all together...you now have 2 analog sticks so it should be a lot better already.Any way I suggest wait and watch. It will probably turn out to be a nice action rpg.

No.

I only played the first game, and it was absolutely horrid.

And judging by the scores the other games (especially Eldar Saga!) got, I'm assuming the later games were similarly terrible.

Something that everyone should keep in mind is that Valhalla Knight's 3 is made by a different team than the one that made the previous games in the series. So.... it's a bit hard to judge the game as of now, I mean, the previous games were mediocre so I don't see how having a completely new team wouldn't improve the series.

Here's a pretty fair review of the overall series:

Valhalla Knights (The First) was pretty mediocre. It was deep though, and gained a nice little following because of it.

Valhalla Knights 2 made a ton of improvements over the first, but it was Valhalla Knights 2: Battle Stance that actually broke the series into remarkable status. I'd recommend ignoring VK and VK2, but checking out VK2: Battle Stance

I didn't really enjoy the first VK. It was only after I stopped playing that I found out the enemies level with you, and you need to level multiple classes on each character to keep the difficulty in check.

I have not gone back to it since I put it down the first time.

Pretty good read. That cross class system sounds pretty neat. Only thing I'll sayis that RO wishes it "played like Advent Children on steroids" lol
