I'd like to point out that Vita has pretty much the same attach rate in less than half the time frame

First off, his usage of the word -lying- was actually legitimate. The guys Kweehh attacked claimed that 3DS was a console that encouraged "new and interesting concepts" in gaming... and then promptly go on to list a bunch of PORTS AND SEQUELS as examples of that. Claiming that those are new and interesting concepts is... well... a lie. THEN they claimed they were uninterested in VITA because it had no original, new games... and promptly claim they'd be more interested in it if it was hacked so they could play PS2 games on it. Because old games are totally new and original, amirite? So basically, their claim that they had no interest in Vita because it lacked originality is a lie, because they then claim they want to play... old, unoriginal games on it with a hack.

It IS a legitimate use of lie. They were claiming something which they then promptly denied later, what's that if not lying when you deny your own earlier words? Even in the Bible, the Apostle who denied Jesus 3 times in blatant contradiction of his earlier words ("I will never do such a thing!") was called a liar.

Secondly, Edward was the first to provoke, actually, by acting condescendingly and mocking both Kweehh and Pringer_X about "getting all bent out of shape" without the slightest provocation from either of them, while they were debating with each other. Pringer_X was especially completely polite about what he was saying, while Kweehh, while admittedly sounding angry, did also make a very valid point in pointing out that the people he was debating with earlier were contradicting themselves, as detailed above.

As you can plainly see, while he's very annoyed, he is making a lot of sense.

Then Edward comes in and mocks them both by basically calling them Vita fanboys with no good reason at all. Even though both were being very reasonable. Who was the one who was rude now? Then Edward insistently refused to see the point (likely intentionally), and THAT's when Kweehh asked if he really was that dense and if he'd read his posts.

Personally I think the trollbaiting was blatantly obvious, and that was what set me off. Then the whole thing snowballed into this.

You said most of Europe, show me this source then. I'm 100% open to believe it. And show me how it affects anything related to the game. You gotta pay money for internet around the world. Tough luck it's more expensive there, guess what, and you do know this, every thing is more expensive there. No excuse though.

As for DLC affecting people's enjoyment of the game....you can think of a valid reason to do something asinine like that. Only one I can think of is that they're TRYING to make their audience mad at them.

Please stay on topic and don't bring up irrelevant examples and go on ranting about something no one asked about. There are almost 700 Pokemon, not getting less than a handful of those doesn't break any games, and if it does to that person, there are SEVERAL options available to alleviate it. Gamefreak only keeps you from that legendary last 2 or 3 Pokemon every game, because that's all the real 'DLC' there is. You are able to completely enjoy the game for hours on end without those Pokemon, which are locked away to EVERYONE and then released online for several months for free, and can also be had through unofficial wondercard servers online at any time.

If you really want a certain Pokemon you can't get, you'll get it without much trouble, because otherwise you're saying this person is COMPLETELY sheltered and that he can't enjoy being online for 5 minutes altogether somewhere in the span of months. Doubt that.

And again, you missed the point for his statement. It wasn't about who was rude, it was both of them, and no one was justifying that, which is where you started the snowball.
