Its not just you, that was pretty much the psp's marketing strategy as well, I love both systems for the ps1 classics, but rarely play actual psp or vita games

They're getting better. Sly Cooper is the EXACT same game on both. Killzone will probably be damn close to a consle game.
sly looks worse on vita and runs at 30fps as opposed to ps3 version running at 60fps. so no, they're not the exact same game on both. @XplodnPnguins92 The vita version is also a lower resolution and doesn't use uncompressed audio. Big deal. The actual game still plays the same. Call of Duty and GTA IV look and run slightly differently on the PS3 and 360, but they're still the same game. Same thing here dude. --- Sent from my iPhone via PowerGuides 1.10

It's just you TC. Not only does the Vita get diet PS3 games, it also gets Playstation Mobile games. Bam. --- What I can't get over is how she ripped one testicle off..~Frogstir I can't read your topics without expecting Bel Air now.~KensaiBlade

I kind of like getting portable versions of PS3 games. Especially if it's cross-play. --- http://tinyurl.com/7fl22md PSN: IconGrist

Kind of seems pointless owning one if its merely getting inferior PS3 titles. Many 3DS games are original and NOT available on Wii/Wii U. Sony needs to get better support. My iPad has better games.
They usually cost 33% less out the gate for PSV titles..
I hope most would still keep that in mind. But the way Sony markets the VITA, it's understandable that people expect most titles the same as the PS3's (some really are tho).

In Vita's defense: Gravity Rush --- If the Sega Master System was a speed bump to the NES, the Atari 7800 was a tire-staining squirrel.

As I've said many times before, the lack of product differentiation is what's killing the Vita.
There isn't much point in getting a Vita if you can play the same games on the PS3. Nintendo was smart enough to differentiate the 3DS from the Wii/Wii U --- "Your arms are too short to box with God!"
