Would it be a good if Sony...

Sorry in advance if I say anything stupid, but would it be a good idea if Sony reduces the price on PSN games?

I mean, they got nothing to lose or what ever...they're just selling data so they can't be out of stock. Also, wouldn't that make more people go after memory sticks?

That would be great. Most of the PSP games on the store are criminally overpriced. Unfortunately, they don't even know how much they're charging for the games and seldom change their prices. The Valkyria Chronicles 2 bundle is actually cheaper than the vanilla version!

Please excuse my troll behavior, as I am currently in my "Crash/Spyro depraved" state. Thank you for your understanding.

I'd rather them focus on lowering the price of the sticks personally.

and isen't the price decided by the developers?

Their decision or not, it still would be good.
You can't resell it. (Well, you can if you're selling a PSP)
They're gaining money, doesn't matter if it chump changes.
They're not losing money (making cases, booklets, art work, umd/cards, etc)
They're helping Sony by making people buy their memory sticks. And Sony would get a HUDGE profit if people buys a lot of memory sticks since it's over priced. Especially if they go on sale. Like gas.

Prices are set by the publisher of the game. Not Sony. It would be nice if publishers were all in sync with pricing but that is not the case. You got EA who will charge you the full $40 for NFS when a bunch of other companies are giving a small discount if you buy the game digital. You got other companies who seem to not even know there game is being sold on the store at all and the price is sitting at full price even though it's an old PSP game that's been sitting there for years. You got Activision Selling COD Declassified for $50.

Sony can't force publishers to lower there price.

Yes, they should reduce the price of some digital games.
I don't really care whether it's the publisher's fault, or if Sony isn't nagging them enough or whatever but :
- Earth Defense Force 2017 : $40
- Persona 3 Portable : $30
- Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together : $20
- The Eye of Judgement: Legends : $30
Physical games go down in price over time, they don't.
Digital games are priced much better on Steam.

Are you talking EU? I'm looking at the NA store right now, and though I'm pretty sure there was a bundle before, I don't see one now. :p
