I want a Vita, but I don't know what games I'd get.

Assassins creed on console is completely different from the vita version. The vita version lacks the content the console has and the story is very confusing. The storyline literally feels like there were cutscenes missing, going from one thing to another without transition. Although the missions themselves see still fun, plus there are quite a few collectibles and side missions. New Orleans is a pretty good size and the Bayou is ready big. Although there are framerate issues in New Orleans but nothing too big. (Trust me,I just platinum'd this game)

Uncharted has great graphics, storyline, and gameplay for a handheld. It is an extremely good have and I recommend you pick it up.

God tier, buy no matter what:
Persona 4: Golden
Virtue's Last Reward
Gravity Rush
Sound Shapes
LittleBigPlanet Vita

Good tier, buy if you dig the genre and haven't played it previously:
Uncharted: Golden Abyss
Disgaea 3
Assassin's Creed III: Liberation
Super Stardust Delta
Tales From Space: Mutant Blobs Attack
Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time
Dokuro
New Little King's Story
Sine Mora
MotorStorm RC
Silent Hill: Book of Memories
BlazBlue CSE
Playstation All-Stars
Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath
Plants vs Zombies
Virtua Tennis 4
Ragnarok Odyssey (skip if you don't plan to play online, buy immediately if you have a buddy to play with)
Jetpack Joyride (free)
Treasures of Montezuma Blitz (free)

Future pre-orders for me:
Soul Sacrifice
Muramasa Rebirth
Dragon's Crown
Ys: Memories of Celceta
Tearaway
Killzone Mercenary
Valhalla Knights 3

Lots to play if you want games and have money. Less to play if you need killer apps, buy few games and have less money.
