They play just fine, unlike ps1 games the back panel doesn't get used, which is good because it doesn't really work.

I've been playing Dissidia 012, Crisis Core, Kingdom Hearts BBS, and Silent Hill Origins. All of them look very, very good. Its a big upgrade compared to the PSP, thanks to dat second analogue.

I personally have P3P, FFIV:CC & FFTactics: WOTL on my Vita and they all look pretty tip top so far...even the PSX games look good...at least better than they do on the 55" through the PS3

I think that's because the larger the screen size, the more the image is stretched.
