Vita has no system sellers at alll

#11mrekliPosted 2/13/2013 2:58:44 PM
I'm personally torn on what a System Seller is? Is it a must-have for the owner of a system?

Is it a game that makes a person want the system? Because Uncharted did that with me.

What is it?

It has a lot of good games, but they certainly aren't selling systems.

Thanks for pointing that out, for 100th time...
I think the majority of the Gaming community is already aware of this. Why make another redundant topic?

Because it's a GLARING problem, and because somebody is gonna try to defend against this. They shouldn't simply be satisfied with the current state of the Vita. It's simply a useless system that could have been so much more

It's usefullness is subjective. I get more use out of my Vita than I ever did my PSP or DS.

I agree that it doesn't have any big system sellers, but it's far from a useless system, in my opinion.

Oh good, it's THIS topic again. -_-

There's one thing I do wonder. Why do the haters even bother posting on a board? If they dislike Vita so much, wouldn't it make more sense to, you know... go to a board about something they actually LIKE? Like, I don't know, Hannah Montana or some such? -_-

I define it as a game that's sales correlate with increased sales of the system it's own. For example, the 3DS sold better when Animal Crossing started selling, and as Animal Crossing continues to sell well, so do 3DS sales.

I think COD may have increased Vita sales, although nothing major and nothing long term.

Because there is not much else to talk about the vita. It is not like Sony has announced new plans, or price cut, or anything that will try to help the vita.

oh so fact = opinion. Okay bro.

its a glaring problem yes, but you gotta admit this thread sucks though? It comes off as a quick attack towards the system without opening it up for any conversation.

How do you even function in society? Are you REALLY incapable of carrying a conversation unless it starts with an inquisitive? I can imagine you sitting at a bus stop when someone says "good morning" to you and you immediately burst out "THIS CONVERSATION SUCKS. IT COMES OFF AS A QUICK COMPLIMENT TOWARDS THE MORNING WITHOUT OPENING IT UP FOR ANY DISCUSSION". That's not true in the slightest.

I bought this system specifically for games that are on it. Not just because of the system.

In other words, your argument just failed because at least one system was sold due to the games.

Okay, but posting useless topics like this with no intention of starting interesting discussion is what I'm talking about. He is simply looking for emotional reactions, if he really wanted to discuss the matter then why not give us his opinion on what he thinks should be done to fix this "glaring problem"?

Simply stating "the Vita isnt selling, despite having some good games" doesnt add anything to this board.

See point #2

If you're ccompletely incapable of discussion when the conversation starts with a statement, I feel bad for you.

you can talk about the upcoming games. I know you are incapable of spotting games that don't bring in huge revenue (your mind probably deletes them from sight) but trust me they still exist and some are pretty good. >.>

I bought the Vita to replace my PSP, but I agree with you, there are no system sellers. And with the failure of Call of Duty and Assassins Creed, people will be reluctant to buy it, even if there is a "system seller".
