Browser Security Risk

I'm re-posting this from wololo's blog. There is a javascript risk on the Vita browser that can steal passwords from sites that you visit. So it is time to be a little more careful with your browsing. If you need to read about it, you can here:

People...don't use the browser on these things for anything besides game guide type things...

That's what smart phones are for

The sad part is that if it were a exploit to play pirated games we'd already have a mandatory 2.06 firmware upgrade upgrade.

In all seriousness, does anyone use the Vita browser with Javascript on? I found that with JS on, the Vita browser would want to completely refresh many web pages every few seconds - basically making them unreadable.

Not that I view any sites requiring a password with my Vita, but still ...

pretty sure there was an exploit on pcs a while ago. Norton 360 said so. It said Norton was protecting me although i should update my java.

While in my head I knew there was a browser somewhere on my Vita, I couldn't tell you a thing about it.
