And some people claim the vita screen is HD...

It doesn't meet the industry standard of 720p to be considered HD. However, compared to the 3DS, it looks HD.

who cares what 3DS has, we're talking about Vita. Do Vita fans always need to be defensive? Also shouldn't you compare Vita to something closer in sales, like Hostess? Since 3DS is actually selling...

All I did was make an observation bro. Not trying to bash the 3DS or anything. Just trying to explain why some people may view the screen as "HD" when comparing to other gaming handhelds.

Seems like you are the one who is being defensive here.

There's no excuse to bring up the 3DS, when trying to talk HD. That's like talking 3D and bringing up the Vita, since Vita cannot handle 3D. Vita and 3DS cannot handle HD, yet my Nexus 7 can (see how weird that was) it's called trolling and supposedly I'm a expert at it!

You are an expert at it, and it's nothing to be proud of.

BTW, did you not read my previous post? I explained why some people might see Vitas screen as "HD" compared to other handhelds. I was responding to your post about people calling the Vita screen "HD". You got very defensive just because I used the 3DS as an example.

Or perhaps he got angry because your "HD compared to other stuff" stunt is an insult to any tech-savvy person.

exactly. Because with that way of thinking, then DS is HD compared to GBA, right?

Oh dear, you got a ? with images on and off? I got that with my MP4 videos, sometimes the same video can be transferred but sometimes it will be marked as non-transferrable. I brought this up at Sony official forums and they say "you're probably trying to pirate the videos..." what the freakin' hell?

And there goes Mega again putting on his white knight armor...

The dudes comment was in no way offensive or was it a shot at the 3DS. It made perfect sense. He just stated most people think it's full HD when compared to the 3Ds, which in fact it does look that way. Shadow got extremely defensive and made a big deal out of nothing.

No one is bashing the 3DS. At all. Jesus christ lol

TBH, HD does not really matter tat much on a screen size like the Vita, the PPI density is big enough to maken the image look sharp. It really makes me angry when I see these phones coming out with 1080p displays. Not like I will ever notice that many pixels.

I had exactly the same problem with my iPad 3. I wanted to check out that gorgeous screen so I've downloaded some huge photos but when I zoomed them in they were blurry and looked bad. It's a common problem for mobile devices, even the almighty iPad: http://apple.stackexchange.com/questions/63896/how-to-view-high-res-images-in-ipad-3-without-downsampling

iTunes and/or photo viewer automaticly downscale photos so it uses less resources and you can browse them faster. I think it's the same on the Vita.

I have bolded the main problem. You see, with an Android phone or tablet you actually have control over the device. It's not at all related to mobile devices but really it's because of Apple (and Sony) treating their customers as idiots (which is apparently what they want too).

Sony is trying to imitate Apple with the Vita and it's crap because of it. I love the potential of my Vita but the content manager is balls.
