...is because they want to do a cross platform release with ps4? That would be kinda awesome.

Yeppers. I believe they have a three year deal with Capcom to keep Monster Hunter IV a Nintendo exclusive. I'm not sure if this is applicable to Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate though. I'm hoping the Vita obtains a Monster Hunter game eventually, it'll be a while though.

There is a rumour though that a very popular series in Japan has gone fully Nintendo exclusive now. I doubt it's Monster Hunter, it's probably Dragon Quest.

idc why it's not here yet. all i ask, is when they do make one, they don't pull that crap they're pulling with the 3ds version not having online to force people to buy the wii u version. at least i assume that's why. 4 will be online, so i honestly can't think of any other reason 3u won't be.

There are plenty of good reasons not to include online in a game. Capcom doesn't have any good reasons for this. You could try to argue that online would be unnecessary since MH games in the past got by without it just fine. That, and the 3ds is everywhere in Japan.

But they're putting it in 4 so I don't get it. On top of that, Capcom wants the servers to be region locked in MH3U. NINTENDO doesn't even region lock their own online modes in games. What the hell, Capcom.
