Does PSP game DLC work on the Vita?

I bought Valkyria Chronicles II for my Vita and want to buy the DLC pack with extra missions. Can I just normally purchase it and it will work without a problem?

Yes

NA requires you download it with PS3. EU & JPN can download it straight from PSV PSN.

Yeah, that's how I had to download the game also. It really makes no sense why some of the titles are missing from the Vita PSN store when they are compatible.
