I bought the MGS HD Collection, should I keep or return it?

Eh the console version is better simply because you get peace walker as well but its your decision.

I like portable gaming a lot better. I have my 360 in my room, but I'm barely in there except for sleeping.

I constantly have my Vita or 3DSXL on me, so it's just easier to play it on the go. I'm okay with it not having Peace Walker. 2 games for the price of one is more than enough for me.

Keep it.

...Also, that's a pretty weird way to buy games.

If this is your only option, keep it; don't forget that in MGS3 you have TWO MORE GAMES (Metal gear and Metal Gear 2), the MSX first and second games on the series.

So technically you have 4 games for the price of one.

I actually enjoyed MG 1 a lot.

I just finished getting the platinum in both games and that took me well over 120 hours. If you're looking for something to kill time, it's a great series and a lot of fun. And you can run while your weapon is up in 2, just hold down L1.

I suggest getting rid of your 360 and get a PS3. With the PS3 you can transfer aka transfar your game save from your to the PS3 versions of MGS 2&3

2 is a lot more clunky then 3. For example, you can't move while you have your gun raised, and melee is a lot weaker. Also, unlike MGS3, it is MUCH easier to get caught, and much harder to get them off your tail. And since you can't move while your gun is raised (although you can turn), it is also difficult as hell to fight off mass numbers of enemies WHILE trying to hide.

Wait, you CAN move with your gun raised in MGS 2, on the vita version you just raise your weapon with square or down on the d-pad, then hold L and you can walk/run with the gun raised.

To be honest, both games share good part of control scheme that is kinda confusing at first, but when you realize how to do stuff it works decently.

MGS3 is by far my favorite game of all time. I'd recommend keeping it.

No offense, but that's incredibly dumb to do all that just to swap saves for two old games. Especially when the PS4 is being announced tomorrow.
